Hello April

Before I talk about our activities I want to remind you that there is NO PRESCHOOL ON APRIL 14
That is the day we will be screening incoming students.  Community Connections will be operating for those who usually attend.  Another date that you can add to your calendar is JUNE 1st 5:30-7:00 pm our PRESCHOOL CELEBRATION.

This week we started a unit about staying healthy and strong and learning about the systems of the body starting with the skeletal system.

Here we are balancing and trying out hoola hoops in lots of ways.

Bunnies, Bunnies Everywhere!

We started off the week with William's mom visiting us with her beautiful Angora bunnies (10 to be exact) and their mother Annabel during the afternoon session.

We had fun listening to the classic Beatrix Potter book - The Tale of Peter Rabbit.  We also wrote stories about this event.

Students said farewell to winter and drew pictures about what they will miss about this season that seemed to never really take hold.

We acted out some math problems about bunnies coming and going from gardens.

Is Spring really here?

We're back in the swing again after our long break and we are studying transportation.  Students have been thinking about all the ways they get from point A to point B and we are seeing that people in other parts of the world depend on options we wouldn't consider.  If you have any books or pictures you wish to send in for our study we would be glad to incorporate them.

A sign up sheet for conferences went home on Wednesday for our March 31st and April 1st meeting times.  Please get that back to me as soon as possible so I can schedule everyone and give you the choices you selected.

Please note that there will not be preK on March 31st and April 14th.  Community Connections will be in session on those days.
