still waiting for snow!

This week we did lots of art work in the class using a variety of materials.  You will get to see our uniquely finished products before the holiday break.  We have also been singing and acting and can't wait to do our little performance next week.

At this time of year we are thinking of seniors who might need some items that we can provide.  Shoe Box for Seniors project by the Central Vt. Council on the Aging is asking those who can to fill a shoebox with small useful items: lotions, soaps, socks, note cards, stamps, tea bags, tissues, wipes, books or anything that fits.  If you want to send in any of the above items preschoolers will wrap the box and deliver it by December 21st.

Another project that you might want to consider is Toy Joy.  Check out the specifics in the school newsletter but we are collecting gently used toys (that your children don't use anymore).  Bring them to school next Wednesday or Thursday and I will deliver them to the Bethany Church.  Anyone wishing to "shop" at this great free toy store can do so on Saturday December 19th from 9-2.
