What do Snowmen do at Night?

This week we said good-bye to  November and hello to December.  We read some books about animals getting ready for the winter.  One non-fiction book was called Hibernation and a fictional book was Bear Snores On.  We also wondered about what snowmen might do at night and acted out this fun fantasy story with that same name.

You are all invited to see how we interpreted this story and hear some songs.  Please mark your calendars and come down to the music room.

The MWF morning group will have it's performance on Wednesday, December 17, 11:00 am.
The MWF afternoon group will have its performance on that same date at 1pm.

The Tuesday/Thursday group will have its perfomance on December 23rd at 12:30 pm.

We hope you can make it!

During this holiday time we are encouraging students to think about how we can give to others.  We  have the opportunity to participate in the Central Vermont Council on the Aging's "Shoe Box for Seniors Project."

You can either send in some items you would like to donate such as: lotions, soaps, socks, slippers, note cards, stamps, tea bags, tissues, wipes, books, and magazines and we will assemble and wrap some boxes.  We could also use some shoe boxes.  Students will be helping to organize these gifts and create some wrapping paper and note cards.

Thanks in advance for helping us with this worthwhile project.
Jamie and Kathe
