BRRR!

This week we did lots of indoor activities due to the ice and wind.  As you will notice in the pictures, we had a grand time.  We continued reading Mo Willems' Pigeon stories and acted out our favorite parts.  In math, we have been doing lots of counting and the afternoon group did an amazing job of finding combinations of 5.

you can read anywhere-- even on a trampoline!

taking a break at the pizza restaurant

making glitter slime-- sensory exploration

more sensory options using water play

indoor snowmen

learning about each other's likes- by playing "The Warm Wind Blows"

a visiting artist demonstrates clay techniques

jumping on the trampoline

having an indoor picnic

finding pictures and numbers that equalled 5

Linda Urban, published local author came to our class to share her stories

taking time to explore objects at the light table

sharing homemade binoculars

singing "Old King Glory"

finally a chance to play in our "snow box"
