Back from our break

This week students had a great deal to share about their time away from school.  The afternoon  group wrote stories about their adventures in their journals.  On the day it snowed students were asked if they were happy or sad about this and created a graph.  I then asked them why they voted the way they did and draw about their ideas.  They are figuring out how to express "opinions" and respect those who have different ones.

I wanted to give some important dates to keep in mind.  June 1st 5:30-7:00 PM - Pre-K celebration night.  More specific information will be forthcoming as we get closer.
June 8th- Last Day of School for Pre-K students.

We started studying about seeds and we will be planting some indoors and eventually some in our little garden in our playground.  If you can help your child find seeds in fruits and vegetables  and send them in we will experiment and see how they sprout.(Apple seeds, avocado, oranges, tangerines, cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers).

When the weather was nice we loved having those tricycles back out again!

When the weather looked like winter reappeared we made a muddy looking snowman!

We are on a "flower" hunt
