Starting a garden and checking out the birds

This week we noticed some significant growth in our plants.  The bean plants have taken off and the pumpkin seeds, cukes and apple seeds are sprouting.
We are also bird watching and saw a Scarlet Tanager right in a tree overlooking our playground.  That was pretty exciting.  Students are doing a great job identifying some common birds and learning their sounds and some facts about them. Our playgound is looking more beautiful due to our planting.  Check out the pictures.
A note about our June 1st celebration has gone home.  Please return the form so we can make our plans.  Students have been practicing their songs and dances.
