Pumpkins, Pumpkins Everywhere!

We started off the week by having a grand time at the Peck Farm.  Abigail's family hosted a lovely evening at their pumpkin farm and orchard.  We had a hayride,  enjoyed hot apple cider and  saw a flying pumpkin!  Jayden's mom and dad treated everyone to their own pumpkin to take home.  We thank them for their generosity.  A great big thank you go to the Bair's for offering us this now traditional event!  Each year there have been some new fun activities added to make this event even more memorable.

You might have noticed a Mother Goose Book making its way home to you.  Please ask your child to "read" it to you and see how many parts are remembered.
Parent conference times have been sent home - please mark your calendar.  Kellogg Hubbard Library came to us on Thursday.  The morning group and those students in community connections were treated to some fun monster stories and got to go home with a book to keep.

Check out the school newsletter for the fun family nights coming up this weekend. The Bingo Night is to help raise money for our outdoor education program for students in the primary grades.

Next Thursday we will have a little Halloween celebration in class.  We will have some fun stories, and art projects.  If you are interested in contributing a healthy snack to share that would be appreciated.  Please let me know.
